It may be hard for you to feel optimistic right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you may have found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

This group is here to help you understand the complex emotions that can happen after a significant loss, and find ways to cope and heal…and to eventually feel hopeful about the future again.

Please join us for this six-week group to discuss the following topics with others who have also experienced a significant loss, under the guidance of a skilled counselor.

  • Each person’s experience of grief and loss is unique
  • There is no specific timeline for when grief should be “finished”
  • Different ways of grieving, and remembering the person you have lost
  • Coping with emotions
  • Coping with complexities such as regrets, forgiveness, or trauma associated with the person you have lost
  • Making the most of support systems such as spirituality, family, and friends
  • Understanding how this loss has changed you and your life

Group begins Saturday, April 26th, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Littleton Front Range Counseling office, 6901 S. Pierce St. #235, Littleton, CO 80128.
